Pastor Krystal A. Livingston
Pastor Krystal A. Livingston, affectionately known as "Pastor Krys" is the Founder & Visionary of The Song of Deborah: Women in Ministry & Kingdom Leadership. Humorous, loving, talented, pioneering and always fashion-forward; she dedicates all of her many gifts, talents, and graces to trailblazing pathways for Leaders from all corners of the earth and mountains of influence to elevate and expand (up & out) as God commands them to do...
Krystal A. Livingston was born in the Bronx, NYC, the youngest of nine children to Johnny and Martha Livingston, both of South Carolina (maternal family of the Gullah Geechee Nation). She accepted Jesus Christ into her life at six years old, nurtured by her dedicated babysitter who brought her to church faithfully.

Krystal began her involvement in ministry as a member of Shining Light Jr. Choir, a 70+ voice youth choir, igniting her passion for ministry through the arts. At twelve, she was baptized and officially joined Bethel Gospel Assembly (Harlem, NY) under the senior leadership of the late Bishop Ezra Nehemiah Williams (and now Bishop Carlton T. Brown). Krystal's commitment to ministry expanded rapidly as she engaged in drama, dance, and music ministries, urban missions, teen peer leadership, and evangelism. While attending college, Krystal founded the university's Gospel choir and ministered to her peers through weekly practices and gatherings.

Following graduation, Krystal moved to New London, CT, where she became a member of New Life Christian Fellowship, later ordained as a Minister in the office of an Evangelist under Pastors Johnny and Sharon Burns. A well esteemed Praise & Worship Leader; Krystal then decided to release her debut album in 2012, "My Journey, His Glory," featuring the hit single "Shoelaces," which propelled her to share the Gospel across the nation.

In 2018, Krystal relocated to Georgia, where she continued ministry, serving in leadership roles: Teen Instructor at The dReam Center of Atlanta (Bishop William Murphy Jr.) then Assistant Pastor at New Song Fellowship (Pastor Heidi Truitt). She then devoted herself as a full-time Caretaker for her mother until her mother’s passing from bladder cancer in November 2020.

Following a period of healing and restoration, Krystal experienced a transformative reset in her life! She went on to serve in senior leadership at Thrive Zone Church (Apostle Denise Williams) and then in October 2021, Pastor Krystal established The Song of Deborah: Women in Ministry & Kingdom Leadership. The ministry has grown to become a thriving global community with close to 600 women in leadership from different ages, backgrounds, expertises, and experiences…united under the mission to “uphold, uplift, and support you as you fulfill your Kingdom assignment”.

Krystal is a dynamic Influencer, Change-Agent, and Connector. Krystal obtained a B.S. in Forensic Science and a M.S. in National Security & Public Safety from The University of New Haven, but she has had close to 2 decades of a career in college admissions and currently works for Emerson College (Boston, MA) as their Sr. Asst. Dir. of Undergraduate Admission & Atlanta Regional Representative. She also continues to make a significant impact in higher education by serving on the Board of Directors for SACAC (Southern Association for College Admission Counseling). Additionally, she owns "Mattie's Gal Boutique & Styling," (named after her mother) reflecting her entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to empowering women.
